So today I want to do some reflections on every presentation during the lecture of SKI 3013.
- Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
2.Microsoft Powerpoint
Firstly, I want to praise this team because they able to explain to the whole class very clear and guide each and everyone of us very well. They taught me how to make a picture move with just using the animation effects in this software and how to add background song in our powerpoint which is such a cool and new knowledge for me.
3.Youtube
For youtube I think most of us know how it's work so for me there's not much to learn and the team presented about it also does not took a long time to present. Well, there are one thing I learnt from the session which is we can play our video on loop just by clicking on the setting using left click and press loop and Walla!
4.Screencast-O-Matic
First and foremost, we need to download this software for us to use it and I amazed how it works. This software actually really helpful if we want to teach other through screen and just record our screen and just send it when it is done. I learn that we also use the camera to record our face and record the laptop's screen at the same time.
5.Moviemaker
From this session I able to learn we can make videos just by using either pictures or videos that we recorded before or even combine video and pictures. For me this session is very good because I able to gain knowledge on how to make a video which will be very useful especially for my other courses that require me to shoot a video as an assignment. Other than that, I learnt about how to emphasize the sound and music used in the video where we able to adjust the volume that we want and balance it well.
6. Chemsketch
This is a new discover for me as a chemistry student because through this software I can make any element and just copy it and the software itself will name the chain that I draw and i can view it in # dimensional way with different rotation. Next, this will make my job to the lab report hundreds times more easier because this software have materials drawing prepared in it. This session is very fun for me.
7.Preezi
Just other amazing software to improve our presentation slide. Through this session I learnt that we can make our slide shows more interesting when we use Preezi. I can just pick any template and just key in all my point for my presentation and still can edit the animation and shape based on our own preference. I can just share my slide on the software and other people can use it.
8. Padlets
I cannot recall very well about this session because the presentor's voice is very small and I cannot listen properly although I already asked them to speak more louder but I remember that I learn from this software how to make awesome homepage in this software and add any topics that you want on it.
9.Quizziz
This session is good and I learnt that I can just go through this freeware if I don't have time to make questions and just edit a little bit before print the questions and not to forget we can make either online test or homework for students which is very convenience for us in the future as a teacher.
10.Plickers
Through this session , I learn we can conduct a direct test for study just by using QR code that are special for everyone that represent A,B,C,D respectively. This freeware will be suitable for me during my teaching practical in the future because it does not required phone for the students to answer the questions which is very suitable with the school environment.
