As one teacher in a chain of many, I become custodian of the gifts of learning and freely empower my students to benefit from them. Of greatest importance is who I must be for my students, I develop significant relationships with each child and this can be achieved through genuine love, empathy,kindness and a boundless ethusiasm for the wonder to be found through discovering our world and each other.
As a teacher, I live as though the world were as it should be, to show my students what it can be. Not to forget, I want to create a safe, positive, welcoming environment for students to learn and grow as both students and members of society and I believe learning takes place best in a positive safe environment filled with laughter.
Most important thing is I aspire to build positive relationships with my students throughout the years that I teach them to provide them a relationship they can always turn to in times of struggle.
